Originally, we didn't set out to create a new kind of African keyboard. We set out to make it effortless to type African languages at home and in the office. Refusing to settle for the status quo, we designed a keyboard that serves users in over 50 countries across the continent.
Hundreds of office keyboards are sold worldwide, but almost none were designed with African users in mind. Africa, home to more than 2,000 languages, 1.4 billion people, and the world’s fastest growing group of digital workers, had none.
